You could also consider donating some to your favorite pizza parlor that totaled his Mazda and has retention!

This is a good idea but on reading I decided I must criticize (and you must be damned sick of that at the moment)

I really like the idea of giving back your revenue as I'd hate to think where I'd be now if I had the money to fund all of my ideas back when I couldn't afford them myself :P

HOWEVER.. Where could you POSSIBLY be earning $1,000/mo from? I think you can discount 90% of the cross promotion potential you had from eNaresh and whatever other sites you run and I'm not aware of, due to your falling behind schedule and all of the let downs that you have left your community. Also, the demand for dev resource sites such as Zulumonkey, Techtuts, AvengeX, Zymic etc in the good old days (which I believe you are going for) is practically nonexistant compared to 2, 3 years ago. Even if you did manage to get a few thousand unique hits through monthly, I could only think that you'd use banner ads and recently I have seen my revenue from banner ads cut in half, then in half again and everyone I've asked reports similar performance.

Please fill me in on the details as I love your ideas but think that you are being quite unrealistic in your 'business plan'. But hey, what do I know, my blog doesn't get 1/100th the activity yours does.

I look forward to a reply

    Stephen,

The majoirty of revenue will *not* be generated from banner ads. There's
much better marketing and revenue building techniques that I would be more
than happy to discuss with you behind closed doors, not in public. I'll
email you the business model in the next few days. I'm at work now (at 8PM
on a Friday) and should be here until Sunday morning

Pixel2Life got roughly 70K unique hits last month, and that's up 14% from
last month. This time last year, they were averaging about 40K unique hits
a month, and they've had an upward trend since then.

Zymic, which used to be a major player, has had an upward trend since
November, and is sitting at about 35K unqiues a month.

TechTuts is at about 1.5K a month.

    Good-Tutorials is at about 56K

iWebTool is at about 200K per month.

I think what the "industry" really needs is a site like SiteRose - one that
doesn't just want to teach you coding, design, etc, but focuses on other
aspects of sites both for the "hobbyist" (like TechTuts) and the business
    user.

SiteRose is not using eNaresh and my other websites at all.

If this goes through it think it could be a very good thing for developers who have ideas bigger than they can do themselves.

I have a few things in mind personally that could generate a lot of revenue and sponsorships once launched if done correctly.

If you care to share those ideas feel free to email us or get in contact with us or even post them up on here. We are always willing to listen to new Ideas.

I have run the idea by naresh via a gmail convo a while back and he seemed pretty stoked about the idea and seemed willing to work on it with me at the time but only after SiteRose was launched and sitting good as far as being fully released and running.

Feel free to add me to your gmail contacts list and send me a pm any time. I am always on!
    My email is fragzone.caleb@gmail.com

PS: The ideas I have right now seem to have a pretty good demand as of lately with the downfall of similar sites and companies in the recent economy.

    Hey Naresh,

Sorry for my late reply but I have been quite preoccupied as of late. I haven't been interested in the "scene" for quite some time now so may have been wrong in my assumption that it had taken a downward turn..

Also, I apologise for the tone of my last message as on re-reading it, it's quite patronising and negative. I look foward to hearing from you re: your plans but don't feel that you have to disclose anything to me as I'm just being nosey :P
