Naresh,
It looks pretty sweet. How long do you think it will be before it comes out? A year or Two?
I like the new start bar thats pretty sweet. Does it have a option since its in beta to do updates? Or everytime they come up with a new beta do you have to reinstall?

The ONLY thing keeping mr from Windows 7, as I have the CD, is driver crap, although maybe I could dual boot...

I'm pretty disappointed with Windows 7's UI, even with all the hype. I think I might be switching to a Mac sooner than first thought.

Really? I love the UI, personally - though the transparency is a but dodgy on this crappy CRT

That looks pretty cool, way better than Vista, I was thinking about installing it but I will wait till they release a stable full version that isn't beta. Its gonna stop working in Aug. 9th so why dl it.

Yeah, I know that :P I just like the placement, and quick launch always rearranges for me.

I think you also failed to mention, that if you drag a window to the top of the screen, it will maximize and if you pull a window away from screen it will restore "down"... i love windows 7 though!
It has the glow when you hover over it, also when you right-click the taskbar and slide over the start button it stats glowing

Windows 7 is pretty promising considering Microsoft knows Vista was a flop, yet has taken obvious measures not to come out and pretentiously saying "we know Vista sucked, here try this and see if it's better". That is the approach they took with Vista and we all know how that turned out. I really think Windows 7 will be the right direction for Microsoft.
These screenshots look pretty interesting. I'll be sure to install the final build on every PC I have access to (totally not illegally...).

Haha i love the history in your IE, what iv always said "IE is only good for one thing, downloading firefox!"
Ye ai have windows 7 on disk, but i just havent had the urge to install it yet, the speed improvements they have been going on about, just havent been there, so its looks like minimal change at present!
how did you manage to fuck your laptop so bad?

To be honest, I don't like all these features that are small and that I may use once or twice then get bored of them.
I failed to see whats wrong with good old XP, apart from stuff like doesn't support more than 3.5GB of ram there's nothing wrong with it, it has enough features, can do everything quite good, it's not totally secure but a copy of NOD32 can fix that. Also, it does everything i require of it without a confirmation screen asking me to allow or deny.
I use a Macbook and sure, there are soo many features as well but most of them i actually use and are quite helpful and i can bet i don't use all of them but the ones i don't use are very handy to tell you the truth.
